The Apa Hotel Asakusabashi Ekikita belongs to the large APA hotel group. So you can't go wrong there. The internet was stable and pretty fast. You can work with it. There are enough small shops in the area. You can buy everything you need there or pick up money. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy breakfast in the hotel. I was usually already gone beforehand. After all, you want to see something of Japan and that's best done in the morning when there aren't so many people around. The room is big enough for one person with a backpack. With 2 people and luggage it could be borderline. Other than that, there's not much to say. It's just like B&B or Ibis in Germany Metro is 10 min by foot away.

This hotel was perfect for a solo traveler. I had plenty of space for my medium sized suitcase and double bed. I was In 316. They have an ice machine and microwave in case you buy some convenience store food. The subway was 6 minutes walk, a dollar store and family mart at RIGHT next door. Easy non transfer route to shinjuku station on the yellow line to shinkansen and other JR lines. 20 minutes walk to Asakusa station ( if you plan to go to Nikko, train leaves from this station) and the Sensijo temple/shrine. I would stay here again. Good value for money, stayed for 5 nights. Lots of APA hotels on the same street and surrounding area.

The hotel is in a good area of Tokyo, not too busy but right next to Asakusabashi station which has direct links to both Narita and Haneda airports. Very easy to get around the different areas of Tokyo. The hotel itself is very clean, quiet and modern and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned really well and there are all the toiletries you could wish for. There is even a fridge in the room. The breakfast is lovely and a great selection of foods to enjoy. Great air con, very comfortable beds. Love the yukata washed every day for you to wear, so comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel and APA.

Towels were provided daily. Cleaning is every 3 days, though can be requested at any time for free. Fast, free in-room WiFi (though we couldn’t connect one of our devices for some reason). Conveniently located within a 5 minute walking distance from the station. Took the Keikyu line from Haneda to Asakusabashi Station, and the Asakusa Line from Asakusabashi Station to Narita upon checking out. Didn’t need to transfer to and from either airports! More than enough restaurants, bars, and convenience stores within walking distance. A few small shrines in the area too worth the visit.

Dennis

The location from NRT Airport you can take Sky Access Train then transfer to local train the few stops you will reach Asakusabashi Station then exit 4 few minutes you will reach the hotel. FYP NO LIFT OR ESCALATOR you have to lift your bags in exit 4. Yen shop and family mart besides the hotel. Few minutes walk behind the hotel there is St Paul Catholic Church. A lot of restaurants and shops. Its not touristy place. One stop to Akihabara (you can reach by walking as well).
